Adrian Van Wyk is a Cape Town–based filmmaker, artist, and cultural historian working across documentary, fiction, and research. His work explores diasporic culture, notably in Notes From The Underground. He produced What The Soil Remembers (IFFR, Ammodo Tiger Short Award) and Flores (Sheffield DocFest winner). An Atlantic Fellow for Racial Equity (2025/26), he will pursue a PhD in Social Anthropology at the University of São Paulo.
